Make no mistake about my coming there for some of your butter creams. Being my favorite candy I am going to buy quite a lot and give some away. I can't wait!! Plus I will peruse the store for other goodies.

I just wanted to let you know how excited I am that Shane's has reopened! My family and I used to travel from our home in New Jersey to shop there every year for our Christmas chocolates. Then the store closed and we had to shop at another Philadelphia candy store (which shall remain nameless). But this year, they changed their schedule and are not opened on Saturdays. So on a whim, I googled 'Shane's Chocolates' and was SHOCKED to see that my favorite candy shop was open for business again! Thank you so much for reopening and providing convenient hours. We will see you on Saturday!

I apologize, but I should have checked my own spelling of the Berley Brothers' name before I posted my last comment.

You know, I visited the soda fountain about 3 years ago and was blown away at the historic fun that was (re)created by the Berly's. I remember saying to my wife that these guys should buy the Shane factory as well. Why not, same block, same historic feel, right? Lo and behold, here we are and it has happened!! I will be visiting either this weekend or next to purchase your holiday fare and I couldn't be happier to be back! Many heartfelt congratulations and thank you's for bringing this icon back from the brink. I do have one small request, however. Please have somebody proofread your history writeup as there were several gramatical/spelling mistakes. That small matter aside, I am looking forward to shopping once again at your establishments.
