Privacy Policy

Shane Confectionery values your patronage and respects your right to privacy.  For security reasons, we need to request certain information for billing and shipping such as name, address, and phone number. We will ask for your email address when you place an order, so that we can send status confirmations of your order. In no event will we authorize third parties to use such information for other purposes.  Because we are committed to protecting your privacy, personal data relating to an identified or identifiable individual that is submitted to this web page will be collected, processed, stored, and disposed of in accordance with applicable U.S. law.

Your order form data is protected from unauthorized interception by the use of SSL encryption, which is the current standard for data scrambling during transmission, and your data is unscrambled only with our authorized bank’s decoding key.

Refund Policy

Your satisfaction is our goal.   If the item becomes damaged in transit, we can offer to reship an item, but can not offer refunds.
If the item is delayed in shipment, not delivered due to an incorrectly or insufficiently entered address in the order form, damaged in transit, or not delivered due to fault of the carrier, Shane Confectionery cannot be held responsible.  Please ensure that the shipping address is absolutely correct before you submit the order.

Shipping Policy

Credit Card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing.  Please allow up to 5 business days for us to process your order before shipment.  UPS deliveries occur Monday – Friday, excluding holidays.  USPS delivers Monday – Saturday, excluding holidays.  Once your order has been shipped, Shane Confectionery will send an email confirming shipment of your order with carrier (UPS or USPS) and tracking information.  The status of your order can be tracked by visiting the carrier’s website and entering the tracking information provided via email.  Please allow up to 12 hours for the carrier to update tracking information in their system.  Shane Confectionery cannot be held liable for delays in shipping when the carrier is at fault.

    You don’t list the amount of ounces in your boxes of candy–only medium and large. Could you please reply with the ounces contained in the two sizes? Thank you.

      Hi Karen,

      We don’t list the ounces for our boxes of candy because the weight of the boxes may vary. Typically our medium box weighs about 8 ounces and our large is approximately 1 pound.

    what are the prices and availability of the “clear toy”bunnies featured in April’s issue of Martha Stewart Living?

      All of our Clear Toy Rabbits available for online sales are located on our ordering confections page. http://shanecandies.com/confections/

      If you are interested in the specific shapes featured in the magazine, the green Clear Toy Rabbit is the Rabbit Listening and the purple and pink rabbits are both from the Colossal Rabbit Clear Toy selection.

    Mind I ask, Are deliveries restricted within the US? or can you ship to Canada as well? Toronto to be more specific.

      Hi Emily, we currently only ship within the United States. We are hoping to expand our shipping to Canada in the future.

    Can you ship in the summer months with out candy arriving melted?

      Hi Aimee, yes, on all of our assortments we offer the option to “Cold Pack” them for an additional price. That way the candy stays cool and can safely ship even to areas of the country that are very hot. We do suggest choosing a shipping method that takes 2 days or less.

    I live in the Los Angeles area and our end of summer temperatures are fluctuating. I am ordering meltable candies but with cold packs. Do I need to order a cold pack for each box of candies ordered or can they be shipped with one or two cold packs? Love your website. Thank you

      Hi Mary,

      We recommend ordering each box of candy cold-packed, but if you order only one box cold-packed we will make sure to arrange all the assortments together with the cold-packs so they can keep evenly cool.
