Tour behind-the-scenes at the oldest continuously-run confectionery in America most Fridays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 2:00p. After checking in at the register inside Shane, tours begin outside, in front of the shop at 110 Market St., Phila., PA 19106.
We welcome the public into our 150 year old building, where we sample our chocolate and confectionery craft while exploring our historic shop, kitchens, and Chocolate Works production spaces. This tour has something for everyone, and can be described as “historic house tour meets Willy Wonka!”
Learn about the antique equipment and recipes still in use today, while admiring the building’s architecture, decorative arts, and businesses, and immersing yourself in early candy culture and craft chocolate making today. 45 mins. – 1 hr. in length. Samples included.
